- Have an accident - မေတာ္တဆထိခုိက္ဒဏ္ရာရသည္။ She had an accident while she was playing basketball and broke her arm.(သူမသည္ ဘတ္စကတ္ေဘာကစားရင္း မေတာ္တစျဖစ္ျပီး လက္က်ိဳးသြားသည္။)
- Serious accident ဆိုးရြားေသာမေတာ္တဆမႈ The park is now closed following a serious accident last week.(ဆိုးရြားေသာမေတာ္တဆျဖစ္ၿပီးေနာက္ ပန္းျခံအားပိတ္ထားသည္။)
- riding/ climbing/skiing ,etc. accident - ျမင္းစီး၊ ေတာင္တက္၊ ႏွင္းေလ်ာစီ းမေတာ္တဆမႈ Greg has been unable to walk since he was injured in a riding accident. (ဂရက္ဟာျမင္းစီးရင္းဒဏ္ရာရတာေၾကာင့္ လမ္းမေလွ်ာက္ႏိုင္ျဖစ္ေနတယ္။)

- Crash + into ၀င္တိုက္မိသည္။ ၀င္ေဆာင့္မိသည္။ The truck skidded across the road before crashing into a wall. (ကုန္တင္ကားဟာဘီးေခ်ာ္ၿပီးနံရံကို၀င္တိုက္ခဲ့တယ္။)
*crash with something လို႔ေျပာ၍မရပါ။ crash into something ဟုသာသံုးပါသည္။
- Wreck - ကား၊ ရထား၊ ေလယဥ္ပ်ံပ်က္ျခင္း The wreck caused a 5mile traffic jam. ( ေမာ္ေတာ္ယာဥ္ပ်က္တာ ငါးမိုင္ေလာက္ယာဥ္ေၾကာပိတ္သြားတယ္။)
- Collision - ယာဥ္အခ်င္းခ်င္းတိုက္မိျခင္း Several cars were involved in a collision on the express way this morning. (ဒီမနက္အျမန္လမ္းမႀကီးက ယာဥ္တိုက္မႈမွာ ကားေတြအမ်ားႀကီးပါ၀င္ခဲ့တယ္။)
- Collision + with - တစ္ခုခုႏွင့္၀င္တိုက္မိသည္။ A 25-year-old man was thrown from his motorcycle in a collision with a truck. (ဆိုင္ကယ္စီးလာေသာအသက္၂၅ႏွစ္အရြယ္ရွိေယာက်္ားတစ္ေယာက္သည္ ကုန္တင္ကားႏွင့္တိုက္မိရာမွ ဆိုင္ကယ္ေပၚမွလြင့္စင္က်သြားသည္။)
- Collision + between - ေလထဲမွာေလယာဥ္ပ်ံႏွစ္စီးတိုက္မိျခင္း
- Head-on collision - ေခါင္းခ်င္းဆိုင္တိုက္မိျခင္း
- Pile-up - စုၿပံဳျခင္း၊ ယာဥ္တိုက္မႈမွာကားေတြစုၿပံဳေနျခင္းတိုက္မိျခင္း The pile-up happened in thick fog. (ဆိုး၀ါးတဲ့ယာဥ္တိုက္မႈဟာ ျမဴႏွင္းေတြထူတဲ့အခ်ိန္မွာျဖစ္ခဲ့တယ္။)
- Get run over - ယာဥ္တိုက္ခံရသည္။ အႀကိတ္ခံရသည္။ Our last cat got run over by a car outside our house. (ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ရဲ႕ေၾကာင္ကေလး အိမ္အျပင္မွကားႀကိတ္ခံလိုက္ရတယ္။)
Don ’t run out into the road —you’ll get run over. (လမ္းထဲေလ်ာက္မေျပးနဲ႔။ ကားတိုက္ခံရဦးမယ္။)
- Disaster - ေဘးဒုကၡ၊ ကပ္ဆိုက္ျခင္း။ Could your hospitals cope with a major disaster like a train crash? (ခင္ဗ်ားတို႔ေဆး႐ံုေတြ ရထားေမွာက္တာလိုမ်ိဳးေဘးဒုကၡမ်ိဳးကို ကိုင္တြယ္ေျဖရွင္းႏိုင္လား။)
- natural disaster (caused by wind, rain or other natural forces) - သဘာ၀ေဘးအႏၱရာယ္ Natural disasters such as earthquakes are common in this part of the world. (ငလ်င္လႈပ္တာလို သဘာ၀ေဘးအႏၱရယ္ေတြက ဒီေဒသမွာေတာ့မဆန္းေတာ့ဘူး။)

- accidentally/by accident - မေတာ္တဆ I accidentally burnt a hole in her sofa with my cigarette. (သူ႔ဆိုဖာခံုကိုေဆးလိပ္မီးနဲ႔အေပါက္ျဖစ္သြားေအာင္မေတာ္တဆလုပ္မိတယ္။)
Doctors discovered the new drug quite by accident, while they were researching something else. (ဆရာ၀န္မ်ားသည္တျခားတစ္ခုကိုသုေတသနလုပ္ရင္းက ေဆး၀ါးသစ္တစ္မ်ိဳးကိုမေတာ္တဆ ရွာေဖြေတြ႕ရွိခဲ့သည္။)
*Accidentally ဟာ subject နဲ႔ verb ၾကားမွာလာပါတယ္။ I accidentally brake it. ဒါေပမယ့္ by accident ဟာ ၀ါက်ရဲ႕ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာလာတယ္။ I brake it by accident.
- unintentionally - မရည္ရြယ္ဘဲ (အေရးတြင္သံုး) Some male science teachers unintentionally discourage the girls in their classes. (အမ်ိဳးသားသိပၸံဆ၇ာေတြဟာ မိန္းကေလးေတြကိုအတန္းထဲမွာမရည္ရြယ္ဘဲစိတ္ဓါတ္က်ေစတယ္။)
- by mistake - မွားလုပ္မိသည္။ Gary wondered into the wrong hotel room by mistake. (ဂါယ္ရီဟာဟိုတယ္ရဲ႕တျခားအခန္းထဲမွား၀င္မိတယ္။)
Police believe Burton may have shot the woman by mistake. (ဘာတန္ဟာအမ်ိဳးသမီးကိုမွားပစ္မိတာလို႔ ရဲေတြကယံုၾကည္ၾကတယ္။) - Didn’t mean to - မရည္ရြယ္ဘူး။ တမင္လုပ္တာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ (အေျပာမွာသံုး) Sorry, l didn’t mean to upset you. (မင္းကိုစိတ္မခ်မ္းသာေအာင္လုပ္တာမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။)
